Here at Southern Bloom our ultimate goal is to serve the people of our community and surrounding areas using high quality flowers and designs with down-home customer service. Located in south Louisiana, thirty minutes from Lafayette, we strive to provide unique and individual arrangements to suit every client’s taste. With our knowledge on modern and classic design we fulfill our customer’s visions from everyday flower arrangements to weddings and funerals. Our services are truly endless.

Hi! I’m Amanda Bearb, the owner, florist, and head designer of southern bloom flowers. My profound love and passion for flowers have taken me on this incredible journey to owning my own shop and as a people pleaser, it has provided me with the opportunity to make people happy and do what I love. putting smiles on peoples faces is what I live for!

When I’m not designing flowers you can find me performing hair services because I’m also a licensed cosmetologist of 13 years.

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 19 years. He supports me in everything I do and I’m so blessed to have him!

On my off time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, i’m such a social bug!

I live a busy life but I wouldn’t change it for anything.

My Journey

In May of 2016 my life changed instantly. My husband suffered a stroke that left him hospitalized. Through his recovery I needed a way to provide a living for us. God had a hand in guiding me to this small little flower shop in Arnaudville, Louisiana that would forever change my life. In one short year of working here I developed a passion for flowers I never knew I Had. This lead to the opportunity that I was given to own it myself. The love and dedication I have for this shop and my customers is unexplainable! God has definitely lead me to the exact place I needed to be.
